Welcome! I’m Andrey Ignatenko, the author of this site and the book Math Bitcoin Price Prediction: 2030, 2040, 2050. I’m Ukrainian and live in Ukraine. I’ve been an internally displaced person since 2014. Despite the war in my country, I find opportunities to work, write articles, and even the book. After all, a strong rear is the foundation for the front.
My native languages are Ukrainian and Russian. I love English; I appreciate its simplicity and universality, but I do not know it perfectly, although I continue to study it. I have no doubt that you will find mistakes in my English, and I hope they will bring a smile to your face. I will also continue to improve my knowledge of the language.
In 2008, I graduated from Donetsk National University with a Master’s degree in Biophysics, a complex science that integrates physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, and computer modeling. Biophysics focuses on studying physical processes in living systems. Mathematics serves as one of the cornerstones of this field, providing the foundation for calculations and the development of computer models.
I don’t go to work in an office; I work remotely from home, and I recommend this format to everyone, as it is very convenient and pleasant. I would even say it’s more profitable — I don’t waste time commuting and can spend that time on my tasks. In my free time, I do trading and engage in creative work. I enjoy creating good content, whether it’s text or graphics. I trade because it is profitable and fulfills my need to develop effective strategies.
I have been into trading since 2015, starting with Forex. My experience in Forex taught me the basics of trading and prompted me to read a huge number of books on the subject, as I didn’t have a clear understanding of what exactly to do. However, I had a strong desire to dive in and figure it out. In 2020, I bought Bitcoin for the first time, although I had been watching it since 2017. I’ve been trading crypto ever since. I prefer long-term strategies that last longer than one month. I tried intraday trading, but I didn’t enjoy it — it felt too nerve-wracking. Sometimes my strategies last only one week, but that’s rare; usually, they extend to two to three months or more.
A famous trader and author of many books said that trading does not require formal education; rather, it relies on logic, clear thinking, and the ability to control one’s emotions. I would also add that math plays a crucial role, as it provides a foundation for justifying decisions. However, it is not a prerequisite, and many traders achieve great success without deep knowledge of mathematics.
By 2024, my knowledge and experience in crypto trading have accumulated enough for me to share them with the world. That’s why the book Math Bitcoin Price Prediction: 2030, 2040, 2050 appeared and is available on Amazon (ASIN: B0DHV5TVYG). After the publication of the book, I decided to create this small website where I would share my predictions and insights about the cryptocurrency market. Hopefully, the war in my country will still allow me to do this.
